Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other clients connect in one click from Settings; any other MCP-capable tool can be added by hand with the config shown there. Once connected, an agent can look up prompts, log to-dos, plan your schedule and read or update your server list. You choose what each tool may read and change, every call is logged, and you can pause access at any time.

1What is 77Fox?
77Fox is a desktop companion for the AI era, built for people who work with AI agents every day: a prompt library, server and hardware monitoring, to-dos, phone verification codes, a canvas and AI news in one window.
2Who is it for?
People who use AI tools like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to write code, make images or produce video. People with a few servers to keep an eye on. Freelancers who take on AI projects.
3Which AI agents does it work with?
Any AI tool can sit alongside 77Fox: copy prompts over, then log results and to-dos back yourself. For an agent to read and write 77Fox directly, it needs MCP support. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others connect in one click from Settings, other tools can be added by hand, and each tool gets its own permissions. MCP runs only in the Windows desktop app, and AI news and verification codes are not available to agents.
4My prompts are scattered across notes and chat logs. Can I bring them in?
Yes. Once they're in, sort them by category and tag. Every edit is saved as a version, reference images and videos sit alongside, and translation is one click away. The desktop and web apps show the same library.
5Is it free?
The core desktop features are free. Cloud AI features are a monthly subscription, and your own API key or a local model uses no credits.
6Does the browser extension need the desktop app?
No. In-page features like translation and downloads work on their own. Local transcription, verification-code recognition, SMS and email receiving, and local models need the desktop app.
7Can I watch several VPSes at once?
Yes. Latency, online status, traffic per billing cycle and reset dates are all there, and you can calibrate them against the numbers in your provider's dashboard.
8Where is my data stored?
On your own computer by default. Turn on sync and your content is encrypted, then stored in your own Google Drive.
9What can the web app do?
Account, prompts, to-dos, finance, servers and sync can all be viewed and edited in the browser. Anything that needs the computer itself, like hardware monitoring and system audio, is desktop-only.
