Full page, original untouched
Start from the bubble or the right-click menu. Visible paragraphs come first, the rest follows as you scroll. Headings, lists, tables and buttons are translated; code blocks and input fields are left alone.
The default is "whole page, main content first"; you can also translate only the main article. Switch between side-by-side and translation-only at any time.
Select a passage, hover the dot
After you select text a small dot appears next to it. Nothing is sent until you hover the dot, so accidental selections stay quiet. In the panel you can change the target language or engine, copy the translation, or retry.
Page bubble
Drag the bubble to either edge. Hover to pick the target language, switch engines and watch progress; stop at any time and switch back to the original with one click. Don't want it on a site? Untick it in the menu.
X video subtitles
On X (Twitter) videos a translate button appears in the top-right corner of the player. Only the current captions and the next 30 seconds are sent, never the whole video. Videos without a readable caption track say so plainly.
Two sources, your choice
Google Translate (free): no account, no key. It uses Google's public endpoint, which may rate-limit heavy use; the extension tells you honestly instead of switching services behind your back.
Your own key: OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Qwen, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, Moonshot, SiliconFlow, Tencent TokenHub, Google Cloud Translation, Microsoft Translator, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Model lists are fetched live from the provider; keys stay in this Chrome.
Styles and cache
Subtle, tint, highlighter, wavy line, side bar, tag, outline or inverted, in yellow, mint, sky, pink, lavender, orange or a custom colour; readable on light and dark pages alike. Changes apply instantly without new requests.
Translated sentences are cached on this device for 30 days (up to 50 MB), so reopening a page costs nothing; clear the cache from the settings whenever you like.
